Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting Night shift: 18:30–07:00 (3x12-hour shifts) Rotating weekends and holidays required No on-call responsibilities Floating to Med/Surg required, with a 1:7 patient ratio when floated 36-hour weekly work commitment 13-week contract Requirements Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Candidate's permanent residence must be 100 miles from the facility's service area Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Orientation begins on Sundays and consists of online computer-based learning (CBLs) Travelers are expected to actively support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside regular patient care duties Local candidates are not accepted; a 100-mile radius rule is strictly enforced American Traveler Job ID P-681002.
