A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Patient ratio of 1:6 for all shifts • Weekend and holiday coverage required • No call responsibilities • Float to like acuities or less when needed based on census • May take IMCU patients if needed based on census • Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated • Must be proficient with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips • Required certifications: CPI, ACLS, BLS • North Carolina or compact license required in hand at time of submission • 1 year of clinical experience required • Meditech charting experience preferred • Care for patient population including cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedics • Work on 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit with team of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/US, and unit secretaries Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 42-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit that provides specialized care for a diverse patient population.
