Details Hospital-based Med Specialty Step Down unit Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week) Med/surg step-down (MS/SD) experience is required; ICU experience is preferred 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; all certifications must be AHA-issued Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Med/surg step-down experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Full DOB and SSN required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, documenting patient responses to nursing interventions, and delegating tasks to support staff BSN from a board-approved program is preferred Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after completing 26 weeks (one contract plus one extension) before being eligible for a new contract Compliance requirements are strict and non-negotiable — onboarding processes including drug screens and background checks must begin immediately upon engagement American Traveler Job ID P-685672.
