Details Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting Night shift schedule, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week) 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact/eNLC) Current certifications required (all from AHA): BLS, ACLS Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required NRP Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor certification required Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required; 5 years preferred At least 2 years of travel nursing experience required Level 1 trauma experience required Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Additional Information Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments Obtains and monitors physiological data, intervening as necessary based on patient condition changes Administers medications, initiates and monitors IV infusions and blood products Assists physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Educates patients and families on care plans and hospital procedures, and makes referrals to appropriate personnel as needed Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after 26 cumulative weeks before being eligible for a new contract Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced; candidates must be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance of an offer American Traveler Job ID P-680153.
