Details Labor & Delivery unit at a women's hospital Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Every other weekend required On-call shifts required 2x per scheduled period 8-week contract Requirements Active AR or multistate (compact) RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent L&D RN experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start Postpartum experience preferred Valid driver's license required for consideration US Social Security Number required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Responsible for antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal care during the obstetrical care continuum Applies the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local travelers Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered RTO requests must be less than one week in duration American Traveler Job ID P-684679.
