Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Work night shift 3x12 hours per week • 36 guaranteed hours per week • Rotating weekend schedule required • No call requirements • 1 years of experience required • Must float as needed to other units • Patient ratios of 3-4:1 • Care for cardiac stepdown patients • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS • Must be a team player with excellent communication and documentation skills • Black scrubs required • Work with usual stepdown equipment and EPIC EMR system • Deliver nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses and care plans • Administer medications, wound care, and IV therapy including central line care • Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment • Provide patient education and coordinate with healthcare team members • Expected to work at least one major winter holiday and every other full weekend • Contract duration 13-26 weeks with up to 5 days time off per 13-week period Facility: This healthcare facility is a 245-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center that provides comprehensive cardiac care services.
