A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time position with every other weekend requirement • No on-call responsibilities • Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing • Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required • At least 6 months of telemetry experience required • Care for cardiac and telemetry patients (not a step-down unit) • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA • RN license in state of employment or compact required • Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education • Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers • All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days • Precepted by designated trained staff member with competency validation required • Temp to perm possibility available Facility: This healthcare facility operates a dedicated telemetry unit that specializes in cardiac and telemetry patient care.
