Travel Registered Nurse Step-Down (PCU) - $1,534 per week

A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3x12 schedule • Minimum 2 years PCU experience required, ICU experience also needed • Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20-mile radius (Martin North, South, Tradition) • Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) • Epic experience required at level 3 or 4 • Must be familiar with cardiac drips • White scrubs required • Must be nicotine-free - negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required • EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each • Complete time-sensitive modules averaging 6-15 hours (non-billable) • Skills required: telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response/code teams, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drips management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions • All requested time off must be submitted at time of application • First-time travelers accepted • Strict facility policy prohibits calling Facility: This 332-bed short-term acute care teaching facility operates as a smoke-free environment with modern Epic charting systems.
