Details Position is based in a large, 815-bed acute care hospital recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals and a Magnet®-designated facility Assignment is within a Step-Down/PCU staffing pool, with placement across step-down level units Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM 13-week contract Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Step-Down RN experience required Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU RNs ACLS certification required US SSN and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required (candidates from Florida or Missouri must provide two references) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible The facility is a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center serving as a regional referral hub The hospital also houses the region's only Level III NICU and children's hospital with pediatric subspecialists The facility is an HCA Healthcare system hospital American Traveler Job ID P-680670.
