Details Short-term acute care hospital setting at a 733-bed Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit Patient ratio of 1:5-6 Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating within scope to like units or a sister campus may be required based on facility needs Charting via Epic (experience required) Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses not accepted Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required Epic EMR experience required SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Royal blue and white scrubs required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position Pre-start orientation modules must be completed prior to the first day (estimated 4–10 hours) RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days per contract Only one holiday off can be approved per contract Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning Night shift travelers may extend up to twice before being required to leave for a minimum of 6 months First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-681469.
