Details Short-term acute care hospital setting, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 733 staffed beds Med/Surg Telemetry unit caring for a general medical-surgical and telemetry patient population Patient ratio of 1:5-6 Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs, including to sister campus locations Charting performed in Epic (experience required) Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses not accepted Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele RN experience required Epic EMR proficiency required SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position Royal blue and white scrubs required Pre-start orientation modules required, estimated at 4–10 hours RTO requests are subject to manager's discretion, with a maximum of 4 days typically approved Only one holiday off may be approved per contract Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning Night shift travelers may extend up to twice before being required to be away for at least 6 months prior to returning 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-684696.
