Details Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts) Patient care involves telemetry monitoring, pacemaker management, IV insulin protocols, and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) Charting via Epic EMR Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius Block scheduling is not available for this position Requirements Active OK RN license or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted) Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG/Telemetry course (all must be obtained prior to start date) Experience with pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) Epic EMR experience Valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months required for consideration 2 supervisory references required for consideration Copies of certifications required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted Former permanent staff must have been separated from this health system for at least 1 year to be eligible RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout date RTO requests will be accepted 12-week contract length American Traveler Job ID P-681681.
