Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Peds Adult Job Details: • Day shift position working primarily with adult patients with occasional pediatric patients • Must be able to start on 3/25/26 • Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in general Med/Surg unit • Coordinate exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients • Utilize the Nursing Process to make critical decisions • Provide holistic care addressing patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs • Work under accountability to Unit Director and collaborate with Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor • Minimum three years of acute care experience required • Preference given to candidates familiar with Meditech • Required certifications: Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure, BLS (American Heart Association), and ACLS • Travelers will start on Wednesdays • During orientation week, travelers on 48 hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start • All required credentials must be uploaded five business days before start date • This is NOT a pediatric floor but may occasionally have pediatric patients Facility: This is a cherished 25-bed independent and nonprofit critical access hospital located in Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom.
