Details Cardiac Step-Down (Progressive Care Unit) in a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM 13-week contract Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Step-Down / PCU experience required Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start) NIHSS certification required US SSN and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Orientation consists of a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour floor shift RNs are required to wear all navy, all white, or a combination of navy and white scrubs Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible Tobacco use is strictly prohibited on all campus properties, including personal vehicles in campus parking areas American Traveler Job ID P-675246.
