Details Progressive Care/Stepdown unit within a hospital setting Med/Surg patient population in a stepdown environment Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 Every other weekend required Floating required to other universal/progressive care areas within the health system No block scheduling available 14-week contract Requirements Active KY or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of experience at a Level I trauma facility Experience required in: progressive care (PC), acute care (AC), telemetry, and Med/Surg Two supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Clean licensure history required — no licensure hits will be accepted Additional Information Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved Requests for full weeks off between May and August will not be approved Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P-678207.
