Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown setting within a hospital environment Med/Surg patient population in a stepdown capacity Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) Every other weekend required Floating required to other universal/progressive care areas within the health system Block scheduling is not available for this position Requirements Active KY or compact RN license currently in hand — no license hits of any kind will be accepted Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of experience at a Level I Trauma facility Experience required in progressive care (PC), acute care (AC), telemetry, and Med/Surg 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Additional Information Candidates with a permanent residence within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved Requests for full weeks off between May and August will not be approved Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P-677767.
