Details General pediatrics unit serving hem/onc, orthopedic, and surgical patient populations Patient ratio of 1:5 Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required Floating to PICU and NICU required for appropriate assignments, with potential float to additional units based on skill set and hospital needs Charting system: Epic Requirements Active NJ or Compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, PALS, and APHON Preferred certifications: NRP, OCN Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required General pediatrics experience required Chemotherapy/oncology experience required SSN and DOB required for consideration Two current professional references required Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted Navy scrubs required Any RTO or schedule requests must be submitted upfront at the time of consideration Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment Block scheduling and special scheduling requests cannot be accommodated unless approved at time of booking American Traveler Job ID P-686358.
