Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Position Overview Role: Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Location: San Antonio, TX Facility: CHRISTUS Health system (likely a CHRISTUS hospital) Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Required Clinical Experience You must have: PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) experience Ventilator management experience in pediatric patients Preferred: Experience working recently in a pediatric setting At least 1 year in the specialty Education Requirements Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Minimum: RN qualification meeting state requirements. Required Certifications (All must be from the American Heart Association ) BLS – Basic Life Support ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support License Requirement You must have: Texas RN License OR Compact Nursing License (NLC) valid in Texas TB_RN ZRHC Talent Burst Job ID 26-05567.
