Job Details Location: Saginaw, MI 48607 (Great Lakes Bay region) — Michigan nursing jobs / Saginaw healthcare jobs Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Cardiac Step-Down / Telemetry RN Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 - $1,960 Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:15 AM) — Night shift RN Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Openings: 5 Travel RN positions available Schedule: Every other weekend/holiday; No on-call Job Requirements / Qualifications Minimum 2 years recent RN experience in PCU, Cardiac Step-Down, or Telemetry (required) Active Michigan RN license (LARA and/or Nursys verification required) Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Telemetry skills checklist current within 1 year (required) Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years (required) Recent traveler experience highly preferred (Travel RN experience) Local candidates considered (50-mile radius restriction applies for only one 13-week contract) All scheduling requests must be submitted with your application Key Responsibilities Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, and family support needs in a PCU/Cardiac Step-Down setting Organize and coordinate total patient care based on clinical assessment and individualized care plans Monitor cardiac telemetry, recognize dysrhythmias, and initiate interventions per protocol Evaluate patient progress and adjust nursing care to meet established goals Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to implement and coordinate care Provide patient and family education, participate in discharge planning, and support transitions of care Why Work in Saginaw, MI?
