Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) 36-hour weekly work commitment Rotating weekends and rotating holidays required No on-call responsibilities Floating required Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:7 (medical-surgical level acuity) Requirements Active TN or Compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Candidates must reside 100 miles from the facility's service area to be eligible Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are not accepted — must reside more than 100 miles from the facility's service area Orientation begins on Sundays via online computer-based learning (CBLs) Travel RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-681679.
