Details Night shift position: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM PCU/Step-Down unit within a hospital staffing pool 13-week travel contract Located in Asheville, NC Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Step-Down experience required Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted) required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU RNs ACLS certification required US SSN and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information This is a travel position; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible The facility is a Magnet®-designated, Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center serving as the region's flagship referral hospital The facility has earned recognition as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals (Healthgrades, 2020–2023) and holds a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of 'A' American Traveler Job ID P-680667.
