Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PCU Job Details: • Work every other weekend with 12-hour shifts • Patient ratio of 1:5 during days, nights, and weekends • Float to Med/Surg units as needed • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Alabama license • Must have 2 years of nursing experience • Required work settings experience: MS/Tele, Tele, and PCU/Stepdown • Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required • Must be able to start IVs and follow Heparin protocols • Manage cardiac drips without titration • Skills required: Telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Rapid Response/Code team participation • Blood product administration and central/peripheral line care • Oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management • Isolation precautions and PPE compliance • Accepts first-time travelers • Schedules cannot be adjusted once contract is confirmed • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • Orientation includes specialty-specific modules Facility: This healthcare facility features a Progressive Care Unit that provides intermediate-level care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and specialized nursing interventions.
