Details Position is based in an Adult PACU unit within a hospital setting Cares for adult patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures Three 12-hour night shifts per week No on-call requirements mentioned Requirements Active OK or compact RN license required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required At least 1 year of PACU experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary Some computer skills required Additional Information Responsibilities include monitoring post-anesthesia patients, administering medications, and supporting physicians during minor procedures Documents patient responses and manages IV and blood products as prescribed Collaborates effectively with families and the healthcare team on patient care planning and discharge Delegates tasks to appropriate support staff within the team A strict 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within this distance are not eligible Returning travelers may only extend once for a total of 26 weeks before a six-month break is required American Traveler Job ID P-674078.
