Details Hospital PACU and Pre-Op setting Pre-Op hours: 5:30am–4:00pm; Recovery hours: 8:30am–7:00pm Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with alternating days off On-call required for after-hours or weekend cases Epic EMR experience preferred but not required Block scheduling is not available Requirements Active SC or Compact RN license required prior to start (pending license considered for application) Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 1 year of PACU or Pre-Op RN experience required; 2 years preferred Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Pass/fail competency testing is administered on the first day of orientation, including a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and a Moderate Sedation Test — candidates have one attempt to pass All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO requests made after the initial submission will not be accommodated American Traveler Job ID P-685829.
