Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • 36 guaranteed hours per week • Weekend requirement: 1 in 4 weekends • One overnight trauma call required from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Specialty team call scheduled per team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho) • Patient ratio of 1:1 in 26-bed operating room unit • Minimum 3 years Level 1 trauma experience required • Must be competent in Robotics (DaVinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies • Experience required in General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular procedures • Must be comfortable with patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics • Work with Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot equipment • Epic EMR system experience • Teal scrubs issued by hospital • CNOR certification preferred • Must demonstrate flexibility, accountability, timeliness, and teamwork Facility: This Level One Trauma Center features a comprehensive 26-bed operating room department specializing in complex surgical procedures including gynecology and genitourinary cases. The facility maintains state-of-the-art surgical equipment and robotic technology to support advanced surgical interventions.
