Details Hospital-based Operating Room setting 40 hours per week on a 5-day schedule with 8-hour shifts (1100–1930) On-call required: 12 weekday calls (1900–0700) and 1–2 weekend calls (0700–1900, Saturday or Sunday) per 6-week schedule Must be able to both scrub and circulate Charting via Cerner May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital Requirements Active RN license in SC or a current compact/multi-state RN license (must not be a permanent resident of SC) Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required Must be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing required; BSN highly desired Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, and stoop, and frequently lift/move patients Must be able to intermittently lift, move, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) required Additional Information Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver patient care Serve as a patient advocate and provide education to patients and families Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, patient safety initiatives, and quality standards Work environment involves exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and conditions common to a healthcare setting Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from their initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment American Traveler Job ID P-683238.
