Details Hospital-based Operating Room serving both adult and pediatric patient populations Surgical services include ENT, General Surgery, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Orthopedics, Spine, and Neurosurgery Schedule is 12-hour day shifts: Saturday and Sunday 7:00AM–7:30PM and Monday 6:30AM–7:00PM On-call is required, averaging approximately 4 calls per month with varied call types: End of Shift (EOS) 7PM–11PM, overnight 7PM–7AM, or Backup Call (BUC) 3PM–7AM Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may be assigned to sister campuses within 15–20 minutes of the primary facility EMR: Epic Requirements Active FL RN license or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required; CNOR preferred Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required Pediatric (PEDS) OR experience required Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred Degree accreditation documentation required, or a minimum of 5 years of RN experience in lieu of accreditation documentation Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position Must provide full DOB, SSN, RN license number, and a valid driver's license with an address matching the Board of Nursing record Two professional references required: one from within the past year and one additional reference Additional Information Travelers are expected to function as core staff members and integrate into the unit culture Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must complete remote orientation and report to the facility in person for badge/ID issuance Block scheduling requests are not accepted All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO will not be approved after an offer is made No exceptions for pending documentation — all required documents must be submitted by the Monday prior to the start date American Traveler Job ID P-684688.
