Details Hospital OR setting serving both adult and pediatric patient populations Surgical services include ENT, General Surgery, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Orthopedics, Spine, and Neurosurgery Schedule is rotating 12-hour shifts, working Wednesday 10:30 AM–11:00 PM and Thursday & Friday 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, with call On-call is required; call averages approximately 4 times per month with varying types including EOS (7 PM–11 PM), overnight (7 PM–7 AM), and backup call (BUC, 3 PM–7 AM) EMR: Epic Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses within 15–20 minutes of the primary facility Block scheduling requests are not accepted Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required; DL address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing Current BLS certification required; CNOR preferred Minimum 2 years of OR experience required Pediatric OR experience required Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred Degree from an accredited nursing program required, or minimum 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation verification Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; this rule is strictly enforced and applies to property ownership and association as well Two references required for consideration: one within the past year and one additional reference Full DOB, SSN, and RN license number required for consideration Additional Information Nurses begin orientation on a Friday; remote orientation is completed prior to an in-person visit to the facility for badge/ID — candidates must be in the area on that Friday All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; RTO will not be approved after submission Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into the unit culture This facility values flexibility and strong teamwork; candidates should be prepared to demonstrate adaptability American Traveler Job ID P-684691.
