A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Block scheduling with 1:1 patient ratios • 7 operating rooms available • Minimum 2 years of experience required • At least 1 year of specialty experience required • California RN license must be in hand at time of submittal • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS • CNOR certification preferred • Previous charge experience preferred • Charting system experience required • One pre-approved time off allowed • Work with patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Variable daily census in outpatient surgery setting • Specialties include orthopedics, spine, hand, general, pediatric, ENT, plastics, and total joint procedures • Must be proficient in ambulatory OR, hybrid OR, endoscopic procedures, laparoscopic cases, and various surgical specialties • Experience required with electrosurgical units, fiber optic equipment, infection control, and specimen handling • Knowledge of fire safety, malignant hyperthermia protocols, laser safety, and radiation safety required • 7-year work history verification required Facility: This surgical center is a specialized outpatient facility offering comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties including orthopedics, spine, general surgery, pediatrics, ENT, and plastic surgery. The facility features 7 operating rooms and maintains high standards for patient care with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, radiology, and unit secretaries.
