Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted • Both circulating and scrubbing experience required (HARD STOP) • Work in Main OR covering General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal procedures • 16 operating rooms with average daily census of 35 cases • Patient population includes adults to geriatrics • Required certification: BLS • Call requirements: 7-8 calls in a 6-week schedule plus 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts • Average 2-3 weekend shifts per contract period • Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays during assignment • Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed • Work with Epic charting system, Pyxis medication system, and 2 DaVinci XI robots • Scrubs provided by facility • Floating assignments are rare • 72 hours of orientation required • Must be available to submit compliance documents and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing • Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal • Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above) Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 16-room main operating room suite that handles a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, neurosurgery, spine procedures, orthopedics, robotics, urology, vascular surgery, and colorectal procedures.
