A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work three 12-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM • Up to 2 call shifts per month (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM OR 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Saturday OR Sunday) • Up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks required • Must work at least one holiday period (Christmas: December 24-26 or New Year's: December 31-January 1) • Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units/sister facilities • 2 years of experience strongly preferred, first-time travelers accepted • Scrub experience strongly preferred • Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency) • South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required • Level 1 trauma experience required • RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures • Work with all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics • Use EPIC charting system • Scrubs provided by facility • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Must complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams Facility: This Level I academic trauma center and Magnet-designated hospital features 21 operating room suites covering all surgical specialties with cutting-edge technology. The Main Operating Room operates within an 820-bed facility with a nursing team consisting of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists.
