A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • No on-call requirements • Work up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks • Required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's) • Float within scope to meet facility needs and between sister facilities • 2 years of experience strongly preferred • First-time travelers accepted • SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required • Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency) • Level 1 trauma experience required • Scrub experience strongly preferred • RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures • Work with all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics • Use EPIC charting system • Scrubs provided by facility • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends • Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams Facility: This Level I academic trauma center and Magnet-designated hospital features 21 operating room suites covering all surgical specialties. The Main Operating Room operates within an 820-bed facility that provides cutting-edge technology and maintains a dynamic, nurse-driven environment. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary services.
