About the Role – Responsibilities (Oncology Focus) Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric oncology patients with diagnoses such as endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical cancers Administer chemotherapy safely, monitor for adverse reactions, and adhere to oncology medication protocols (chemo nursing) Participate in clinical trials and assist with data collection and trial-related documentation Perform specialized procedures including brachytherapy support, neobladder care, and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) Implement infection prevention protocols, falls prevention, and geriatric oncology safety measures Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry readings; respond promptly to dysrhythmias and acute changes Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, utilize rapid response teams, and escalate care per policy Manage feeding tubes, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line maintenance Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health record Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed to support staffing and patient care Why Join Our Team in Columbus, OH Work in a state-of-the-art facility in Columbus, Ohio — a city known for its welcoming community, cultural attractions, and excellent amenities.
