Details Ambulatory infusion unit with 10 infusion chairs Oncology infusion patient population with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio Strong focus on IV therapy, infusions, and chemotherapy administration Monday through Friday day shifts, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00am–4:30pm) No weekend or on-call requirements No floating required Charting via Epic Free parking on site Requirements Active SC RN license or Compact RN license with ability to practice in SC — candidates with a pending SC license will be considered, but must be fully licensed before starting Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ONS/ONCC, and a valid chemotherapy administration certificate Minimum 1 year of oncology infusion nursing experience required Strong IV therapy experience required, including starting and maintaining IVs SSN and Driver's License required for consideration Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates who have previously worked as permanent or PRN staff within the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted; non-local candidates are prioritized All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration — RTO requests submitted afterward will not be accepted Online modules are required to be completed prior to the start of the assignment Royal blue scrubs required Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November, with peak activity in August and September), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams American Traveler Job ID P-677999.
