Details Mixed acuity PCU and Med/Surg BMT unit (14 & 15W) Patient population includes a wide range of hematologic malignancies and disorders, including ALL, AML, CLL, CML, Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Aplastic Anemia, Amyloidosis, and Myeloproliferative Disorders Unit performs Autologous, Syngeneic, and Allogeneic stem cell transplants, as well as CAR-T Therapy Required skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, central line blood draw, PICC line management, peripheral line care, feeding tube care, and nasal cannula administration Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on staffing priorities and may include days, nights, or a combination of both Requirements Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred ONS Chemotherapy Certification and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential preferred — chemo certification is NOT required Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg and oncology nursing experience required Hematology oncology (Heme Onc) experience strongly preferred Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias required 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Additional Information Care for patients undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplantation, including autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants, as well as CAR-T therapy All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration Candidates who have previously worked at this facility do not require a 30-day break between assignments to change representation American Traveler Job ID P-686069.
