Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Med-Tele RN – Nights | Travel Contract Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12 hr nights) Hours: 48 hrs/week guaranteed Contract: 13 weeks Unit 24-bed Med-Tele (Critical Access) Ratios: ~ 1:6 nights (team nursing with LPNs) Charting: EMR (non-Epic system) Requirements 1 year Med-Surg/Tele experience (acute care) BLS required (ACLS preferred) Must be comfortable with: IV starts (no IV team) Basic telemetry interpretation Floating to like units Patient Types COPD, sepsis, UTI, cellulitis Post-op (ortho, general surgery) Some observation/day surgery patients Schedule Every other weekend (Fri–Sun rotation) 2/3 holidays required Possible call/standby Notes Charge nurse takes an assignment (traveler may be relief charge) Limited resources—strong independence needed About Genie Healthcare Genie Healthcare is one of the fastest growing Nurse Travel Agencies in the USA.
