Nurses in this role will provide care across multiple units and must be comfortable floating to various departments while delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires strong telemetry interpretation skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities Monitor and interpret telemetry strips independently (no monitor techs available) Provide patient care in telemetry and medical units Float to various units including ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining accurate documentation using EPIC EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care Schedule & Float Requirements 12-hour rotating shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Schedule rotates between days and nights every 4 weeks Every other weekend required Days: Saturday & Sunday Nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday Floating may occur in 4-hour blocks during shifts Patient Ratios 1:3 – 1:5 Minimum Requirements Active RN license BLS (AHA) required EPIC EMR experience required Ability to interpret telemetry strips independently Preferred Qualifications ACLS (AHA) NIHSS certification Level 1 trauma hospital experience Prior travel nursing experience Additional Information Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included) Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) for at least 6 months Day-one pass/fail competency testing will be required If you are a flexible and experienced Telemetry RN ready to work in a major trauma center, we encourage you to apply today.
