Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel: RN - Telemetry I - NIGHTS Alexandria, LA 13 weeks SHIFT: NIGHTS 7PM - 7AM START: ASAP General Comments: Type of patients on the unit: MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, PVD, and some med surg overflow. The department does many cardiac rips, we do not nitrate but we manage the drips. Temp to perm is a possibility REQUIRED Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications BLS certification required from AHA ACLS certification required from AHA RN License in state of employment or compact Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend On Call Requirement : No call Floating Requirement / Locations : Required to float when needed Nurse / Patient Ratio : 5:1 but can be 6:1 on occasion Job Requirements: Education/Skills Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred Experience 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications BLS required Current ACLS certification required RN License in state of employment or compact Experience One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
