Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $1,836 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Stepdown Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 34 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a range of health conditions in a hospital setting. The RN will assess patient needs, administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients. Monitor patient conditions by collecting and evaluating physiological data and responding to changes as needed. Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed. Assist physicians with patient examinations, minor procedures, and treatments . Document patient responses to treatments and nursing interventions in medical records. Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans and hospital procedures . Coordinate patient care and make referrals to appropriate healthcare personnel when needed . Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff while ensuring quality patient care. Participate in discharge planning and patient education . Required Skills Knowledge of professional nursing practices, techniques, and patient care procedures Strong organizational and care coordination skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams Basic computer and documentation skills Ability to provide culturally sensitive patient care Education Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher Experience Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Licensure & Certifications Current RN License – Oklahoma State Board of Nursing OR Multistate Compact RN License (eNLC) BLS Certification – American Heart Association (AHA) About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
