Unit/Setting: Behavioral Health / Psychiatry Unit Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract (Behavioral Health RN) Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 03/30/2026 • End: 06/29/2026) Shift: Night shift (3x12) Shift Hours: 12-hour nights (19:00–07:30) Hours per Week: 36 Openings: 2 Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,570–$1,650 Behavioral Health RN (Psychiatric Nurse) Requirements Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent Behavioral Health / Psychiatric RN experience and 18 months of permanent hospital experience prior to travel assignments License: Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) Certification: Active BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) References: Two (2) recent manager-level references within the specialty from the past 12 months; no coworker references Clinical Skills: Milieu management, medication management, behavioral health assessments, and strong documentation Compliance: Ability to meet onboarding, screenings, and required assessments during orientation Key Responsibilities (Psychiatric RN – Behavioral Health) Provide therapeutic, patient-centered nursing care for individuals with behavioral health and psychiatric needs Support a safe, structured milieu through consistent observation, therapeutic communication, and adherence to unit protocols Administer and monitor psychiatric medications; observe for side effects/adverse reactions Complete behavioral health assessments and ongoing reassessments; escalate changes in condition promptly Document care accurately and timely in accordance with unit standards and policy Apply now for this Travel Behavioral Health RN / Psychiatric RN night shift contract in Cleveland, OH (44125).
