Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/31/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Position: RN – PCU / IMC / Med Surg Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS Local Rate: Candidates within 80 miles receive $8/hr less Unit Details: 12 beds 4 ICU rooms (avg. census: 8) Ratios: ICU 1:3 | PCU/IMC 1:3–4 | Med Surg 1:5 Team nursing: RN LPN managing up to 7 patients Requirements: 1 year PCU or ICU experience (MS-Tele only not accepted) Cerner experience required First-time travelers & travel duos accepted Skills: Titrating drips (Amiodarone, Heparin, Levo, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Pressors) Telemetry interpretation required Support: Charge nurse (small assignment) 1 CNA depending on census Schedule: Self-scheduling (flexibility needed) Every 3rd weekend (Fri–Sun) 2 of 3 major holidays required Additional Info: Possible on-call for low census (45 min response time) Option to float to ED for tasks/hold patients Orientation: 4 hrs CBT 8 hrs floor training Must be 6 months separated from Marshfield Health System if previously employed About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
