Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS required 1 year experience required Step-down is a 20-bed (all private room) unit. We strive for a 4:1 ratio but can have a 5:1 ratio, depending on our staffing situation. We have a mixture of pulmonary (pneumonia, COPD, BiPAP/cpap, etc.), cardiac (a-fib, heart failure, etc.), neuro (stroke), GI (bleed), and surgery patients who are stable with a higher risk of becoming unstable.
