Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,584 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a 332-bed teaching, short-term acute care hospital . The RN will provide specialized care for patients requiring close monitoring, including cardiac and step-down level patients. Candidates should have strong PCU experience along with ICU exposure and be comfortable managing cardiac drips and complex patient conditions . Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) . Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions and critical care needs . Administer medications, IV therapies, and cardiac drips as ordered. Continuously assess patient conditions and respond to clinical changes. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans. Document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical record system . Float to other units or facilities within the health system when needed. Requirements Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience required . ICU experience required. First-time travelers accepted. Strong familiarity with cardiac drips . EPIC experience required (Level 3 or 4 proficiency preferred).
