A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PACU Job Details: • Work 8-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday • 4 days per week schedule totaling 32 hours • Days during the week will vary - unit cannot guarantee or offer a block schedule • No call and no weekend requirements • Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience required with 2 years in pediatric OR experience • Prior travel experience required • Required certifications: BLS and PALS • Scrubs provided • Care for pediatric surgical patients from 6 months to young adults • Handle procedures including urology, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, general surgery, orthopedics, and GI procedures • Perform sedated MRIs in pediatric outpatient surgical center setting • May be required to float to Nashville location during times of low volume to meet guaranteed hours • Complete COVID vaccine series or valid exemption required by start date Facility: This renowned children's hospital is a leading pediatric healthcare institution specializing in comprehensive surgical and clinical services.
