Job Details Position: PACU Registered Nurse (RN) / Perioperative Nurse / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse Location: Lebanon, NH 03756 (Upper Valley) — New Hampshire nursing jobs / Lebanon, NH healthcare Contract Type: Travel Nursing, On-site Start Date: March 30, 2026 End Date: June 27, 2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Unit: OR – Same Day Program (34 beds) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8-hour day shifts (Primary: 07:00–15:30; Additional: 06:00–16:30, 07:00–17:30, 08:00–18:30) Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,370 – $2,500 (based on experience and qualifications) No on-call or weekend requirements Qualifications / Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact state (acceptable for travel nursing) Minimum 1 year of recent PACU, perioperative, or post-anesthesia care experience Required experience with pediatric pre-op and recovery (pediatric PACU experience) BLS and ACLS certifications required PALS certification preferred Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-anesthesia nursing care for same-day surgical patients, including pediatric cases Monitor and assess patients in Phase I recovery with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio Deliver pediatric PACU care, including preparation, recovery, discharge education, and family communication Coordinate safe handoffs and collaborate closely with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative teams Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic medical record Manage care across a variety of surgical specialties: gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery Why Lebanon, NH?
