Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PACU Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour shifts per week with variable start times between 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM • Critical care experience required • Care for pediatric to geriatric post-surgical patients • Required certifications: Current BLS (AHA only), Current ACLS (AHA only), Current PALS (AHA only) or ENPC certification • Texas RN license or compact license required • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred • 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred • Perioperative RN Residency or recent OR/Perioperative setting experience preferred • Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire • Complete organizational entry competency validation and department-specific competency validation • Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education • Temp to perm possibility available Facility: This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive health system providing advanced medical services to the Southeast Texas region.
