Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 12-hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights) with potential for 10-hour shifts based on unit needs • 36 hours per week guaranteed • Every other weekend requirement • Call responsibilities required on weekdays and/or weekends • Weekend shifts may include Friday, Saturday, or Sunday • Must scrub all surgical cases • Minimum 2 years of OR experience within the last 3 years (3 years preferred) • Level 1 Trauma experience required (at least 1 year out of the last 3) • Minimum 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years • Must be proficient in General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant surgeries • Flu/COVID vaccination required but accepting medical/religious declinations • Must respond to offers within 48 hours or they will be withdrawn • Time off requests cannot be added or altered once offer is accepted Facility: This major medical center operates as a Level 1 Trauma facility providing comprehensive surgical services including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular procedures, trauma care, robotics, and transplant services.
