Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/31/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel OR Unit Details: Suites: 19 Cases: 55–60 per day (~1000/month) EMR: Meditech Certifications: BLS, ACLS OR Techs: Must have CST Requirements: 2–3 years OR experience RN scrubbing preferred (not required) Must be reliable, punctual, flexible, and competent in multiple services Call & Weekend: RN Weekend: ~1 weekend per quarter RN Call: Every 7th weekend (no weekday call) Specialty call teams: Ortho/Neuro & Cardio/Thoracic Call response time: 30 minutes CST Weekend: None scheduled Unit Info: Charge handled by Nurse Manager RT & Pharmacy 24/7 Surgeons on call 24/7 Floating: None Orientation: 1 week Cases: Full-service OR (except major peds & transplants) Functions like Level 2 trauma Ortho, neuro trauma, robotics No C-sections in main OR Other: 75-mile radius rule (strict) – Driver’s license required at submission Scrubs provided Vents recover mainly in ICU.
