A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - OR Inpatient Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with call responsibilities • Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team • Perform the complete nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care • Participate in interdisciplinary communication methods including rounds and case reviews • Complete timely documentation and promote respectful, inclusive clinical environment • Participate in performance improvement activities and research utilization • Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education • Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and students • Plan for patient care across the care continuum while providing direct patient care • Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS certification • Associates degree in nursing or diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred • Less than 1 year experience required with direct patient care experience preferred • Must possess strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills • Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively • Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required Facility: This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive health system that emphasizes evidence-based practice and research.
