Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - OR Inpatient Job Details: • Work 3 twelve-hour day shifts Monday through Friday • 30-minute call back requirement with on-call rotation per unit • Contract ends 3/21/26 • Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care • Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education • Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement activities • Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS (Basic Life Support, American Red Cross, or Instructor level) • Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required • Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school • Direct patient care experience preferred • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills • Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively • Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required • Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology for clinical care Facility: This healthcare facility operates under a professional practice model emphasizing 5-Star Nursing and evidence-based practice.
